Insert yourself into the role of an I-O psychologist for a financial services firm that has just been investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The investigation ultimately led to the dismissal of your chief executive officer (CEO) for ethical and legal violations.

You will prepare a proposal that analyzes and recommends an organizational change process to address ethical and legal problems of this financial services firm.

Requirements

In your proposal, address these requirements:

Analyze a method you would use to identify both the micro (individual) and macro (systemic) issues that may have interacted to foster an organizational culture and climate in which this sort of ethical lapse could occur. Support your evaluation with I-O psychology peer-reviewed journal articles and real-world examples.
Compare two instruments, or other assessment methods, that your organization might use for selecting a new CEO. Provide a balanced view of both the pros and cons of the chosen instruments, and support their validity for this purpose. Your chosen instruments could measure the following (or related) constructs:
Ethics.
Motivation.
Intelligence.
Aptitude.
Leadership qualities.
Personality and individual differences.
Organizational citizenship.
Integrity.
Apply I-O psychology tools and methods to create a CEO job description that reflects the organizational changes that must occur. Concentrate on general leadership and ethical qualities, rather than the day-to-day skills required to run a financial firm.
Analyze a process for organizational change that could address the ethical and legal problems that have plagued the firm. Keep in mind that an I-O psychologist would also need to know when to recommend a multidisciplinary, team approach to address certain specialized areas (such as legal areas). What are the challenges to getting this change initiative and process developed and implemented?

Select a specific financial asset traded in a spot market (e.g., specific fixed income security, common stock, foreign exchange, or commodity contract).  The student will specify one or more derivatives (e.g., specific forward contracts, futures or options) that will be combined in a portfolio as part of a specific trading strategy (e.g., hedge or speculative strategy)

This week, we’re digging into the international side of SEO and how it differs from country to country. For this week’s assignment, I want you all to select a country (other than the United States) and write an essay about what the SEO landscape is like.

Each essay must meet the following:

History of search within that country (For example, China and Google have a long standing history, the EU has recent changes with GDPR or recent laws)
The main search engines uses within the country
How it is the same as SEO in the US
How it is SEO is different than the US

Look up in the label where your clothing is manufactured (made inTurkey or China or India, etc), you may also select a different product than clothing
Use appendix A of Ashby et all  et all, 2019.

Chose a stakeholder of your interest and lookup in minimal 3 sources of this stakeholder the possible social issues with  the production of your clothing/product
If you chose consumer as a stakeholder then perform the analysis for the country that you will most likely use and dispose of this garment/product
If you use other value chain actors e.g. the supplier, find out at which locations the supplier is based.

Information Interviews are a valuable source of occupational information. Directed by your interview questions, an informational interview relays firsthand experiences and impressions of someone in an occupation. The interview does not have to be highly structured, but rather it should be more of an informal conversation. Building strong relationships with career contacts is the first step of networking with people in the field in which you are interested in pursuing a career.

Directions

Choose a manager working within the business environment you are interested in to interview. Examples may include such roles at HR Manager for a high-tech company, Marketing Manager in an electric car factory, Regional Manager at a hospitality chain, to name a few.
Determine what questions you will ask ahead of time and take notes throughout the interview.
Write a 2-3 page summary describing what you gained from this experience. Additionally, answer the following two questions:
What did you find useful that you can apply to your future career path?
How will you incorporate this knowledge into your life?
Write a thank you note to the manager you interviewed.

Gray et al. propose that Human paternal behavior is best viewed as a triadic (mother-father-child) rather than a dyadic phenomenon (p. 2). Lawson & Mace add the additional element of multiple children, and suggest that the success of offspring is also affected by family size (number of other siblings). Putting these together, explain how having fewer children could actually promote reproductive success for fathers.

Two songs that are covered during the first four lectures will be compared and contrasted. The songs must be chosen from the provided lists  – one from list one and one from list 2 -and the paper should be no shorter than 3 pages (excluding bibliography).
