Paper must be in MLA format. Times New Roman font. 12 point. Double Spaced. Five paragraphs are a must and five sentences per paragraph are mandatory.

Background: State the general purpose of the review, how the topic was selected, and why it needs to be explored further. Justify the narrative review with background information about the research field.Consider what is already known about the topic and what is unknown.  State the specific aims/objectives of your narrative review and what you want to accomplish

Compare and contrast: consider the samples that were studied and the similarities and differences (eg, mean age, gender, mean BMI), consider the interventions and the similarities and differences (eg, diet, physical activity, medication), consider the outcomes and the similarities and differences (eg, weight loss, change in blood pressure, improvement in blood glucose values), what is the relationships between the independent and dependent variables, consider what the authors reported as the strengths and limitations to the studies (eg, sample size, self-recall bias, use of self-administered questionnaires).

Conclusion: what is the overall conclusion of the studies and how will this information inform clinical practice; what should RDNs know and how can they apply these findings and; finally what might be areas of future research on the topic.

Your group will analyze the case “A Martini for Rossi” using the RESOLVEDD strategy from Ethics on the Job. You can see a sample analysis in the book related to the Gatsby case; the case is in chapter 1 and the analysis is in chapter 3. You will also find the checklist in chapter 3 helpful. Review chapter 2, so you are able to be specific regarding the rights and principles involved.

It is common to change your position as you discuss the case. Therefore, do NOT reach a decision until you have completed your analysis.

When completing the written analysis be certain that you:
– do not exceed 6 pages (minimum 3.5)  NOTE: Single-spaced!
– follow the RESOLVEDD strategy
– address the ethical principles involved
– maintain your role as assigned in the case
– organize with headings
– adhere to standard format (Times New Roman font 12; 1″ margins; block paragraphs; single-spaced)
– edit closely

Past students have sometimes had difficulty with the Values and Defense sections. Please remember that you need to explore the specific values (rights/principles) that are being upheld and/or violated by each solution. Also, when defending your solution, do not just state the weaknesses; instead, you should acknowledge the weaknesses and explain how the selected solution is still the best choice.
