Read the quote below from Evgeny Morozov, and construct a personal response:

Furthermore, in the hands of Facebook, authenticity becomes just a rhetorical weapon that fuels user anxieties and results in even more data being uploaded to the site. When Sheryl Sandberg writes that Facebook profiles are now detailed self-portraits that express our authenticity identity she is also stating the obvious: that the only way to make such portraits even more authentic is by uploading and sharing even more details. But Facebook wouldnt be Facebook if it didnt stack the cards against users. Thus, its embrace of the ideology of frictionless sharing in which everything we do is automatically shared by default and we need to choose what not to sharenot only exposes our self-portrait for everyone to see but also results in other users discovering and perhaps even liking our favorite songs and books. But if there are other users who like the very same things that you do, then perhaps you are just a fakeso you need to discover and upload and share something unique. This is a vicious cycle, for no one ever achieves true authenticity on Facebook. Sandbergs dream of an authentic identity is just a clever marketing slogan.

You may wish to consider some of the following questions while crafting your response:

Is the online self inherently less authentic than the offline self?
How might the design of social networking platforms influence the way we build our communities onlineor even offline?
Is Facebooks commitment to frictionless sharing purely self-serving, or do individuals and communities truly benefit from sharing so many elements of their personal lives?

State your Research Topic, Objective/Purpose and Research Question(s).
List and label the dependent and independent variables
State the null and alternate hypotheses.
What qualitative methods could be used to address your research question(s)? Describe any that could be applied.
Which would be the most appropriate? Why?
What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Part 1
Module 3 Assessment 1 Instructions
This is a crosswalk activity that asks you to add your information to the table with a one sentence rationale.

How to approach this assignment:

Start by looking over the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ);
Now very carefully read Chapter 8 of Children with Disabilities text. Read it twice or more if necessary;
Review the instructions at the top of the Content Crosswalk table attached the the submission link below. The ASQ has 6 domains (e.g., fine motor, problem-solving, overall) with 6 applicable competencies (e.g., Does your baby make high-pitched squeals?) under each domain.  This assignment requires that you do only 3 competencies under each domain. This means that your final response will provide information for a total of 18 competencies;
Now, using the textbook, primarily pp. 121-129, locate all of the parts of the brain that might influence the ASQ competencies that you’ve chosen;
Review the rubric for this assignment; and
Fill out the Content Crosswalk as instructed.  Remember that exemplary responses provide additional supportive detail and use more than one cited section .

Part 2
Module 3 Assessment 2: Chapters 11 & 12

Chapters 11 and 12 prepared you to understand the parameters of development, both typical and atypical, and acquainted you with the process of diagnosing atypical development.  The attached short answer questions ask you to summarize two of the concepts you read in parent-friendly language.  Remember that parents may not understand the jargon that we use in our conversations with other professionals. You will be using the Children with Disabilities text to prepare your response, but you must paraphrase and cite your statements–this class does not allow direct quotes.  Read the additional instructions and the rubric very carefully before beginning.
