The paper you wrote for me before for leadership I have to now address these points on it for a simple discussion post.  It doesnt need double spaced, just numbered with each answer and just hitting each one.

Comparison Essay

Compare “A Rose for Emily,” 658 with “The Cask of Amontillado,” 173. Both stories deal with the motive to commit murder and a macabre obsession with the dead.

This essay will be checked for plagiarism.

Instructions:

2) Word count is 800-1200 words

3) To help generate ideas on what to write about, see the questions on page 19.

4) You must have an introductory paragraph, body paragraph(s), and a conclusion

5) Your essay needs a title, but you must also introduce the author’s full name and title of the short story (always in quotation marks) in your introductory paragraph. After that refer to author by last name only.

6) Integrate quotes from the story (as done in example on pages 42 & 45) to support your opinions and to highlight the most significant parts of the story.

7) Avoid using personal pronouns “I” and “you.” If necessary, you can refer to the “reader.” State your opinion with confidence.

Read Legal pot becomes a touchy workplace issue, hosted by USA Today. Then read or listen to Colorado Case Puts Workplace Policies to the Test hosted by NPR. A number of states have legalized marijuana use. With this in mind, would marijuana use be an activity for which an employer can fire you?  Why or why not?  Support your argument.

Alice Programming Assignment 5

A common exercise is teaching someone a new language is to show the person familiar objects and ask for the word for that object.  In this exercise, you are to write a simple vocabulary builder to help someone learn the Spanish word for cat.  The scene shows a cat sitting on the grass and three Spanish words (3D text) displayed in front of the cat.  The user is expected to click on the correct Spanish word for cat.  A click on any other object will not work and causes the cat to shake his head “left to right”, “right to left”  indicating that the choice was incorrect).  If the user clicks on “gato” the cat will say “Si Si” with no head shaking. 

Write a function (isGato) that returns true if the word (a 3D text object) selected is “gato” and false otherwise.  Add a congratulation billboard after the correct word is chosen.  Change the opacity of the false word so that it is no longer visible.

Interview

5. Be sure to include their year of graduation, degree conferred, and college attended in your report.
