“Essays require that you interpret primary source evidence in historical context, drawing from the
assigned course readings. All of your papers must:
closely analyze and describe primary sources using specifics and details;
use scholarly secondary source texts for evidence about the historical context;
select evidence to prove a thesis;
draw conclusions beyond those that are immediately obvious from the evidence;
write a paper that has a clear thesis, evidence organized into logical paragraphs, and a
conclusion;
use correctly formatted footnote citations.
Essays should also:
Consider different perspectives on a problem or controversy related to Modern British
History and attempt to reach a resolution about it. (Global Engagement)
Appreciate that British history cannot be understood in isolation from people and events
from around the world. (Global Awareness)
Recognize that history is comprised of multiple stories, representing diverse experiences
and perspectives (Global Perspective)
Construct an evidence-based argument that integrates multiple perspectives on an issue in
Modern British History. (Global Perspective)”

Further details:
Write a paper that integrates the chapter(s) reading with your experience in a work setting (current or prior).  The goal, purpose, and grading will be to relate concepts and content from your class readings to what you have seen/felt at your work site.  Do NOT just write about 1) what you did at work, or 2) give a summary of the text/readings.

Read the case and prepare a five-page analysis of the case.  The analysis should include the following:

1.Names and description of the parties

2.Background as to how the case reached the court that issued the opinion.

3.Concise summary of the fact that gave rise to the case

4.Summary of the substantive legal question(s) to be decided, as framed by the Court. Note that often courts rule on procedural or jurisdictional issues before they get to the primary or substantive discussion. You do not have to discuss these unless you think they are relevant to the substance.

5.Summary of how the Court ruled on the primary substantive issue or issues.

6.Brief discussion of whether you agree or disagree with the Courts reasoning and/or decision, and why.

In the current trading environment, where companies really need to have both acute visibility over their financial assets, and the most effective plans to manage them, we revisit the notion of the Chief Liquidity Officer and ask if it is time to create this central role, and if so, is the corporate treasurer best-placed to fulfil it?

Questions:

    To what extent is the notion of the Chief Liquidity Officer necessary under current trading and economic circumstances?
    How would you define the role what might it be required to do and what benefits might it bring to an organisation?
    What skills, tools and resources would a successful CLO require?
    To what extent does the corporate treasurer already fulfil the CLO role?
    What would enable a treasurer to take their liquidity management approach to the next level e.g. in terms of strategy and empowerment?

As a start see the attached articles.

Please leave out lenghty definitions or background blabla – focus on the topic and the questions.

Animal Assisted Interventions (AAI) is now quite commonly practiced in the fields of occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) as an adjunct to therapy. In many cases, therapy animals act as a catalyst for discussion between the therapist and client, including motivating clients to talk about previous pets they have owned.  Research has shown that the addition of AAI to occupational and physical therapy has proven to help clients tolerate treatment for longer periods of time, increased the positive attitudes of clients during their OT or PT sessions, manifested more smiles and verbalizations during OT and PT sessions, increased body range of motion during PT sessions, enhanced cognition characteristics, including memory, and motivated clients to work harder during their OT and PT sessions.

Please watch the following videos that are located in the learning activities section of this module:

“Benefits of Animal Assisted Therapy”

“Animal Assisted Therapy”

“Animal Assisted Therapy Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy”

After viewing these videos, respond to this question:

What do you see to be the main client/patient benefits of including animal-assisted interventions in occupational therapy and physical therapy treatment plans?  Introduce the three benefits that you deem to be helpful, and discuss each benefit briefly, yet fully.

I look forward to reading your thoughts and reflections on how AAI can supplement OT and PT treatment plans.  Think in and out of the box.  Put yourself in these patients’ shoes.  Tell me what you see to be beneficial in this scenario.
