Above is a link about security on RFID privacy concerns with the new SportKit that is placed in a sneaker and gives workout feedback to an iPod. Also, this link

shows how users of the Nike+iPod SportKit can be tracked by a predator.

Why do you think the Nike+iPod SportKit caused security issues to the company?  Do you think Nike or Apple acted unethically when they developed the SportKit?  Why or why not?

7. What are the main sections of the research design? Try and limit your comments to 75 words.

This course component requires that you write a 6-8 page paper (excluding title and reference pages) examining a particular aspect of international criminal organizations (e.g., appropriate case studies, comparative international perspectives, a meta-analysis of the extant literature, a new method, technology, or emerging challenge, etc.). Select an aspect that interests you from the course to write the paper.

Requirements

A) 6-8 pages (excluding title, abstract, and references pages);

B) A total of at least seven distinct (largely peer-reviewed) sources used and properly cited and referenced;

C) APA (most current edition) format and style throughout;

D) Paper organized using 5-7 headings (i.e., Introduction, Conclusion or Recommendations, and the 3-4 main aspects of your research).

The grading criteria is based on the below APUS criteria for written assignments.

Content (50%), i.e., essay illustrates exemplary understanding of the relevant material by thoroughly and correctly addressing the relevant content; identifying and explaining all of the key concepts/ideas; using correct terminology explaining the reasoning behind key points/claims and substantiating, as necessary/useful, points with several accurate and illuminating examples. No aspects of the required answer are missing.

Use of Source Information (20%), i.e., credible scholarly sources are used to give compelling evidence to support claims and are clearly and fairly represented. APA format and style is used accurately and consistently. Required number of references used in the development of the assignment.

Grammar (20%), i.e., paper is clear, concise, and pleasant to read as a result of appropriate and precise use of terminology; total coherence of thoughts and presentation and logical organization; and the essay is error free.

Structure of the Paper (10%), i.e., a high-caliber, formatted paper that includes an APA cover page, abstract, page number, headers; is double spaced in 12-point Times New Roman font; and conforms to the specific number of required written pages.

Note: While there are typically several good aspects to some student papers, please note the common issues that I encourage everyone to be well aware of and prevent in their submissions.

1. Content A submission that is largely a restatement or summary of the available information with little, if any, further analysis does not demonstrates an advanced understanding of the issue(s).

2. Sentence structure, composition, grammar If there are more than 4-5 mistakes in a paper, the submission typically does not demonstrate an appropriate mastery of the rules of writing expected at this level. As a practical comparison of expected capabilities, in the busy professional setting, management and executive personnel have little patience for material that is unclear and/or ineffectively stated. Few will care what you have to say if it is not communicated it in a clear, precise manner.

3. Format APA format and style is relatively simple, and there are readily available reference materials built into the course. There is little reason to have to lose (easy) points for not having this aspect well in-hand.

Please submit as a Word.doc attachment.

The quotation must contain relevant information about how the company can implement your recommendations.
Use a format as usual in the consultancy world and come up with a nice and applicable name and logo of your consultancy firm.

    to whom the quotation is addressed
    a brief explanation of your previous recommendations and the implications for the other building blocks
    your research plan (what you will investigate, your research activities, the timeline)
    What you will deliver, and what it will deliver to the company
    starting date and the deadline.
    how do you deliver the research?
    how many hours do you think you need to deliver
    the costs involved (i.e. your fees, other costs) for the total project.

State the research question(s) addressed in the articles- what is being investigated? Briefly describe the study (case study, experimental, etc.)

Findings
What were some of the findings and/ or conclusions drawn from the article?

Implications
How is this important to ELLs?
How has this changed your understanding of second language acquisition or English language learning?  What is your understanding of ELLs and of teaching ELLs?

**ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND THE LITERACTURE REVIEW ARTICLE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE ASINGMENTS.  IT HAS TO BE DONE IN ESSAY FORMMAT, not a q&a

I want to hear your thoughts on and interpretations of the texts, not SparkNotes, not Shmoops. Therefore, if I find plagiarized, paraphrased or summarized material from a study aid site or another resource of that nature, I will write you up for academic dishonesty, EVEN IF YOU CITED THE MATERIAL. This course is not about your ability to copy and paste another persons interpretation of a text but your ability to interpret and analyze a text. Peer-reviewed secondary sources (articles in refereed journals, available through the library databases), ARE allowed in your papers, but they must be incorporated and cited properly, whether paraphrased, summarized, or directly quoted, both in-text and on a Works Cited page.

Prompt 1: Tone:

This poems speaker is a grown child speaking to his/her father on his deathbed. Is the tone consistent throughout, or does it change as the stanzas unfold? Describe that tone and how it is kept/changed. How does that tone create emotional connections to you as the reader? How does your emotional response further the purpose of the poem?

Work at the 4000 level should demonstrate that you have invested some time with the reading, drawn out some of the core information, and contemplated the relevance and importance of the reading within our context (Examples might include: How has it changed, altered, or challenged your knowledge of the topic so far? Your understanding about our industry? In what way does this reading intersect, conform, or challenge some of the materials we are learning in this course?)

There is no single right way to approach your summary and the process of working through new information can be messy. However, as upper year students, you should be striving to summarize and analysis information both for your own benefit and to have the ability to share it with others in a meaningful way. As such, your summaries should communicate value to another reader beyond a simple reproduction of items within the assigned piece. You might consider identifying the style / type of reading, the key focus of the piece, some of the core learning(s) that you took out of the material, and how you have processed it within the context of our course.

      The initial vital signs are: blood pressure 158/78, heart rate 87, respiratory rate 20, and body mass index 32. As part of the diagnostic work-up, an ECG, lipid levels, cardiac enzymes, and C-reactive protein (CRP) are ordered. The patient reports that he does not have time to be sick and says that he needs to take care of everything during this visit so he can return to work and care for his wife.

1. What additional information should you obtain about the pain the patient is experiencing?
2. What additional physical assessments need to be completed for this patient?
3. What considerations are important to remember if the CRP level is elevated for the patient?
4. What differential diagnoses should be considered for the patient (4 minimum)?
5. What patient teaching will be incorporated into the visit to modify the patients risk factors?
6. How will you respond to the patients statement that he doesnt have time to be sick and needs to take care of everything during this visit?

Include Title Page, Introduction, Headings, and References.

Directions: With the readings from week 1 and 2 in mind, answer each of the following questions.  Be sure to fully answer each part of every question.

1.  Discuss the different views (I.e., interactionist, consensus, conflict) that influence how crime is defined.  Which do you think is the best definition and why?  Your why should be supported with facts.
2.  Discuss two strengths and two weaknesses of each of the various measures of crime.  Which method do you think is best and why?
3. Discuss two ways in which you think we can lessen the dark figure of crime.
4.  Based on your answers to questions 1-3, propose a new way in which you think crime data should be collected. * note- this question involves critical thinking and should be your unique idea.  You should, however, use course material to back up your thoughts.
