Many feel that architecture, art, and design elements should decay naturally. Others feel that all efforts should be made to preserve and restore artworks and buildings of significant historical value. What do you think? Should we go to all lengths to clean, restore and/or maintain a piece of cultural history or should we let the items succumb to the limitations of their materials and disintegrate naturally? Who gets to decide?

Write your response in a minimum of two paragraphs and make sure to cite any sources in MLA format.

Here are some topics to get you started on research and to help you form your opinion: :

For this project, you will watch 4 fiction films of your choice. They can be any genre, as long as they are fiction (historical fiction is fine, no documentaries though). The films must come from the following categories:

Made in 1950s or 60s
Made in 1970s or 80s
Made in 1990s or 2000s
Made in 2010s or beyond
While watching each film, take note of the ways in which motherhood/fatherhood/parenting are portrayed in each. Consider how they are changing in each film and what that means. How do these observations relate to the topics we have discussed in the course? Can you find any connections to what you read in Doing the Best I Can? If so, explain. How have the changes you have documented represent the changes we have seen in our culture and around our understanding of what a family is? Who is being left out? Who is missing from these representations? What is the impact of these media portrayals? You analysis should briefly (in a few sentences) describe the films you chose and then focus the rest of the paper on describing the families and presenting the impacts of these media portrayals, referencing your texts.  You should not use any outside sources, including film analysis articles or summaries about the films. These summaries and analyses should be your own! Watch the films and take notes. As you watch, make note of any connections to the texts. You should quote your texts (DBIC, textbook, or online materials) at least 4 times in the paper. All quotes need a page number and author (i.e., for your textbook, you would add Cohen, p.23 for your reader Edin & Nelson, p.22 and articles from the course would be author, p.xx)

Evaluate this Post and express your agreement or disagreement or improve, clarify or express a clearer idea about outsourcing or multi-sourcing.

POST:
In my understanding, outsourcing is limited to hiring someone who’s providing a service or providing a product, somewhat only produced for you. By this definition, buying off the shelf software, like an operating system or an accounting product, is not outsourcing. Hiring a service provider to install and configure it for you, instead of using an internal IT team, would be. Along the same line, use a service provided online, if the service is very much the same for all customer, does not constitute outsourcing (Gmail, O365, Salesforce).

A line also needs to be drawn with staff augmentation. Hiring a specialized to perform a specific implementation would be outsourcing. In my opinion, using a staff augmentation business to add non-employees to assist in various tasks, may not always be outsourcing. If, on the other hand, an entire department function is handed out to a vendor instead of being handled internally, it would then be considered outsourcing.

I’m well aware this is a different post but I’m hoping we can get various opinions on what is or is not considered outsourcing or multi-sourcing.

Must be an analysis of romeo and juliet using Louise Cowan description of a tragedy

The lens is the Cowan essays generally.  You are supposed to argue that your chosen work (for you, R&J) is either a tragedy, comedy, or epic.  Thats it.  And you are supposed to ground your evidence in Cowans essays.  What specifically does she say claim about those genres that makes you think R&J is a comedy, tragedy, or epic?  Although R&J might have elements of more than one genre, you will want to argue that it fits best within one, and only one, of the three.  You might also, if you want to narrow the focus of your essay, argue that it belongs in one of the sub-genres.  So, if it is comedy, tell me if it is infernal, purgatorial, or paradisal.  If it is tragedy, argue that it is stage 1 (fall, catastrophe), stage 2 (wandering, exile), or stage 3 (reconciliation, redemption, resolution).

that is an explanation email from my professor.
