Last, please read the Lewis (2018) article about how new interviewing techniques need to be employed because we fail to assess prospective new employees for their soft skills with traditional methods. Todays new technology allows HR professionals to screen a group of candidates with a 20-minute test, job auditions, meeting in low-pressure locations, video interviews, and virtual reality (VR) assessments.

Required reading: Lewis, G. (2018, January 29). 5 new interviewing techniques that you should start using [Blog]. LinkedIn Talent Blog. Retrieved from https://business.linkedin.com/talent-solutions/blog/interview-questions/2018/5-new-interviewing-techniques-that-you-need-to-know-about

Please respond to the following:

As an HR professional assigned with the task of changing interview methods at your company (current or past employer), which of the five new techniques in the Lewis (2018) reading fits best with your department? How does it compare with your employers current methods? Does a candidates potential role in your organization determine the interview method? Discuss what you have learned about employers approaches to staffing their organizations (Google, Apple, and your current or past employer).

Provide source citations if you utilize information from other authors/speakers (so that your peers can find the information if they wish).

Subsequent Posts:

Read through the responses by your peers and post responses to at least two classmates posts. Introduce ideas/comments and/or research/readings not mentioned yet.

Remember: To receive full credit in this forum, you need to post a minimum of three quality posts (your own initial post, and responses to two classmates). If you borrow from other authors, be sure to give them credit by citing sources.

Your discussion contributions will be assessed on the criteria found in the grading rubric for this assignment:

In determining the grade for the paper, I will consider form (mechanics, grammar), content, documentation, and process. Each will affect the final grade for the paper.

Research papers will have a body of seven to ten (7-10) pages. The paper must also have an outline, and Works Cited page. (These pages are NOT considered as part of the body page count.) You will find a sample research paper, including a sample Works Cited page at the Purdue OWL website. Their website also offers information about outlining; be sure to click through the three subsections regarding outlining. The order of pages in the paper is the outline, body of the paper,  then the works cited page. These are all to be saved and sent to me as one document.
The final Works Cited page will contain seven to eight (7-8) sources. The sources will be derived from appropriate books, periodicals, etc., to denote a variety of sources used; you are expected to begin your research with the CTC library’s online databases. Each of the sources used in the Works Cited must be used at least once in the research paper.
Cliffs Notes, Pink Monkey, Magill’s Surveys, Barron Notes, Schmoop, Sparknotes, Masterplots, Monarch Notes, eNotes, Gradesaver, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Prezis, essays from paper mills, Wikipedia, and all other similar sources are NOT appropriate.
You are to follow the MLA 8th edition format and documentation as described at the Purdue OWL site.
Use direct quotations sparingly (no more than 25% of the paper).
Be sure topic is sufficiently limited.
All words should be spelled correctly and errors in sentence structure eliminated.
The level of diction should be formal (no slang, contractions, jargon, or technical terms without definition).
The paper should be well written and scholarly.
All borrowed information must be noted whether quoted or paraphrased.

For this assignment, write an annotated bibliography based on your topic for your final research paper on the novel you chose to read. An annotated bibliography combines the citations found in the Works Cited list at the end of your paper in MLA format with annotations about each of the sources.

Your annotated bibliography will consist of the sources that you have deemed relevant to your research topic. Include a minimum of ten annotations.

Cite the source in proper MLA format. The citations should be organized in alphabetical order by author (or title, if no author), just as you would for an MLA Works Cited page.
Follow with a brief annotation that summarizes the source (3-5 sentences) in your own words and includes any important information youd like to remember.
In 1-2 sentences, explain the sources relevance and importance to your research paper.
Be sure to use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Essay Title: How The Rise of Fintech Challenges Todays World Disrupting Financial Services

In each case you should CLEARLY articulate the challenge related to either an industry or an organisation and how it affects LEADERS AND FOLLOWERS which MUST be supported by research, supporting data and information from the media and be a current issue.

Show how theory informs practice to develop solutions (you should be sure to cover leadership in terms of the process as covered in the lecture series including all aspects of the process; person, influence, individual/groups and goals). Your work should be in essay format 2000 Words.

Write a 750-1000 word essay which demonstrates how your novel follows the steps of narrative structure (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution/denouement).

Include an outline and Works Cited page where you will list the novel you are discussing.
You must use MLA format, but you are not to use outside sources for this paper; this is your own analysis.
Cite examples from your text in support of your argument, either as direction quotations or paraphrases.
This is not simply a summary of the story. Instead, you should identify how each part of the narrative structure develops in the story.
Do not confuse this essay with your research paper. This essay is totally your own thinking from studying the steps of narrative structure and reading the novel. Your research paper reflects the conclusions you draw from information gleaned in your research and is on a selected topic other than narrative structure.
