Women face occupational segregation in nearly every industry. The majority of women in the United States work in male-dominated workspaces, where they are relegated to traditionally feminine roles, such as the marketing or administration divisions, rarely seeing opportunities for advancement. The games industryin particularis one of the most egregious offenders of this. A 2011 study by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) showed 73% of women in the industry work outside the main jobs of developing games, which means that they have little voice in the content, interactions styles, character representation, and reward systems involved in games. (Source: https://games.usc.edu/news/gender-equality-sells-women-in-the-games-industry/ (Links to an external site.))

Yet, women make up a much larger percentage of gamers than developers. A 2014 study saw over 5 million American women report playing on their consoles at least five days a week. Similar studies found that 52% of gamers in the UK and 47% in Australia were female. (Sources: https://www.theguardian.com/education/2020/feb/17/i-was-always-told-i-was-unusual-why-so-few-women-design-video-games (Links to an external site.); (Links to an external site.) https://theconversation.com/more-women-are-becoming-game-developers-but-theres-a-long-way-to-go-79843 (Links to an external site.)) Female gamers have been very lucrative for the video game companies that have catered to them. Women have helped make gaming one of the countrys fastest-growing entertainment moneymakers, says Drew Harwell of the Washington Post, and this is made strikingly clear if one looks at the revenue of a game like Candy Crush Saga, which rakes in well over a billion dollars every year. This revenue mainly comes from the approximately 93 million people who play the game on a daily basis, 60% of which are women, many spending thousands of dollars on this app, individually.

The growth, development, and learned behaviors that occur during the first year of infancy have a direct effect on the individual throughout a lifetime. For this assignment, research an environmental factor that poses a threat to the health or safety of infants and develop a health promotion that can be presented to caregivers.

Create a 10-12 slide PowerPoint health promotion, with speaker notes, that outlines a teaching plan. For the presentation of your PowerPoint, use Loom to create a voice over or a video. Include an additional slide for the Loom link at the beginning, and an additional slide for references at the end.

In developing your PowerPoint, take into consideration the health care literacy level of your target audience, as well as the demographic of the caregiver/patient (socioeconomic level, language, culture, and any other relevant characteristic of the caregiver) for which the presentation is tailored.

Include the following in your presentation:

Describe the selected environmental factor. Explain how the environmental factor you selected can potentially affect the health or safety of infants.
Create a health promotion plan that can be presented to caregivers to address the environmental factor and improve the overall health and well-being of infants.
Offer recommendations on accident prevention and safety promotion as they relate to the selected environmental factor and the health or safety of infants.
Offer examples, interventions, and suggestions from evidence-based research. At least three scholarly resources are required. Two of the three resources must be peer-reviewed and no more than 6 years old.
Provide readers with two community resources, a national resource, and a Web-based resource. Include a brief description and contact information for each resource.

The aim of this thesis is to expose the potentiality of open source product development through an overview of the history, sustainability advantages, licencing and legal aspects, economics, related project (OSE), etc. As a mean to provide the tools to tackle the challenges of food shortage, the ongoing climate crisis and the centralization of power.
I am not quite sure on what to put as the hypothesis because the subject is a little vague. So I would basically describe important concept and keep it theoretical, or do you think we should do a business proposition? what I would put is the differences between the traditional enterprise vs and an open source enterprise. In the legal, economics, and social aspects of it. Also as my career is environmental and resource management oriented, there should be focus on how does this technologies are based on permaculture principles and a better resource distribution worldwide. It should have the environmental impacts and what are open source development products companies trying to achieve (the problems they want to tackle). It would be great if we could up a case study on Open Source Ecology and use it as a business opportunity, as how can it be easily scalable and replicable. Maybe at the end some financial flows or charts? I really want to make sense of it, It would be great if we could work together on the structure of the thesis. I will bring some ideas on how to do it. Please let me know what are you thinking on writing.

I will send you some references. The one called introduction to open source product development is a bachelor thesis in which I would like it to be based on. I believe it is a good way to structure it.

Consider the following patient scenario:

A mother comes in with 9-month-old girl. The infant is 68.5cm in length (25th percentile per CDC growth chart), weighs 6.75kg (5th percentile per CDC growth chart), and has a head circumference of 43cm (25th percentile per CDC growth chart).

Describe the developmental markers a nurse should assess for a 9-month-old female infant. Discuss the recommendations you would give the mother. Explain why these recommendations are based on evidence-based practice.

Write a 3-5 paged paper (excluding the title page and references). Your paper must include an introduction, the body in which all items below are addressed and references cited, a well-defined conclusion, and reference page. Your paper must include at least 5 scholarly references (no Wikipedia!).  References should be scholarly peer reviewed journal articles, official reports or from other reading resources.

Each disaster follows a general pattern in its development and dividing disasters into phases is useful from both a response and research point of view.
Examples include the following:
Earthquake
Tsunami
Tornado
Flood
Fire
Winter Storm
Heat-related Disaster
Volcanic Eruption
Avalanche
Disease epidemic or pandemic
Bioterrorism
Nuclear event

You must address in your paper the following:
1) What issues in this disaster would make triaging of victims a challenge?
2) What Public Health issues may ensue (e.g., infectious disease outbreaks) and what can we do to mitigate the events?
3) How can interagency cooperation and local collaboration be effectively utilized?

Describe the effect of extremely low birth weight babies on the family and community. Consider short-term and long-term impacts, socioeconomic implications, the need for ongoing care, and comorbidities associated with prematurity. Explain how disparities relative to ethnic and cultural groups may contribute to low birth weight babies. Identify one support service within your community to assist with preterm infants and their families and explain how the service adequately addresses the needs of the community, or a population in your community. Provide the link to the resource in your post.
