Explain the following business structures: sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, and a corporation. In your analysis address the following for each business structure:

Steps to form
Personal liability for owners
Taxation
Advantages and disadvantages
Your paper must be three to five pages (excluding title and reference pages), and it must be formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing Center. You must cite at least two scholarly sources in addition to the course textbook. Cite your sources in-text and on the reference page. For information regarding APA samples and tutorials, visit the Writing Center (Links to an external site.).

Choose one of these two prompts to respond to:

Based on Blumes essay The issue is whether parents have the right to demand that schools censor their childrens reading materials. In your opinion, do they, and if so how should they exercise that right?
Based on Kozols essay Why would an illiterate society be more likely to become less democratic?
Your answer should consist of a well-developed paragraph, which means your first sentence should answer the question(s) (i.e., topic sentence), and the following sentences should support the topic sentence. The paragraph should be unified and coherent with specific supporting details or examples from the story. The sentences should be clear, concise, and arranged in a logical order. Transitions, pronouns, and repetition should be used to provide coherence. The paragraph should follow an argument format.

Based on a current event, that you have either learn from direct experience, read on the news, read from an Economics journal, or taken from a high-quality source, please do the following exercise. In a paragraph or two:

Clearly identify the market you are analyzing. Describe a situation or event that is affecting that market and clearly identify how and why the demand side of the market is affected, or the supply side of the market is affected.? Or both? In which direction (to the right or to the left) will the demand curve shift? or the supply curve? At the end of your example: will prices and quantity in equilibrium be higher or lower?

Example: I will analyze the market of great value sodas (off-brand sodas). The event is a recession. The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) that dates the business cycles in the United States has recently announced that as of February of 2020, the country entered a recession ( https://www.nber.org/cycles/june2020.html ). Analysis: since off-brand sodas are inferior goods, then I will expect that a reduction of income that usually goes with a recession will create an increase in the demand for inferior goods. For that reason, I will expect the demand for off-brand sodas to increase; the demand curve will shift to the right and most likely in a resulting the equilibrium price/quantity of off-brand sodas will be higher.

Your turn! Do not use example given!!

Week 5 Instructions For Final Paper:
You are the manager of Acme Fireworks, a fireworks retailer who sells fireworks, puts on ground display fireworks, and large aerial display fireworks. The company started in the owners garage two years ago and now has 15 employees that you manage. The company started as a sole proprietorship, and the owner has never changed the entity. The owner has informed you that the company has received inquiries from several large businesses wondering if the company could create several fireworks displays on a regular basis. The owner told the inquirers that the company could fill such display orders, and a price per display was agreed upon. It was discussed that most of the cost for a fireworks display is for skilled labor, insurance, and the actual service of setting off the fireworks. No other details were discussed. The owner is anticipating that new employees will need to be hired, but he is worried that if the large orders for fireworks displays do not continue, the company will not have the funds to pay the new employees. The owner is now considering changing the business entity, but he does not know what entity to form or how to form it.

The owner has asked you to do the following:

Determine if the contracts with the businesses will be governed by common law or the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and explain why.
Analyze whether the owner formed a contract with the businesses, and apply the five essential elements of an enforceable contract.
Explain the potential personal liability to Acme Fireworks if a spectator is injured by a stray firework from a fireworks display.
Discuss the different employment types and relationships relevant to agency law, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each type specific to Acme Fireworks.
Explain why Acme Fireworks should not operate as a sole proprietorship. Recommend a new business entity, and provide rationale to support your recommendation.
For each task, be sure to analyze the relevant law, apply the facts to the law, and make a conclusion.

The paper

Must be 8 to 10 double-spaced pages in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing Center (Links to an external site.).
Must include a separate title page with the following:
Title of paper
Students name
Course name and number
Instructors name
Date submitted
Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought. That is, describe what your response is to the content, either positive or negative, and defend your position. If multiple options, alternatives, and/or positions are present and are being rejected, you must also defend the reasons for rejecting an option.
Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
Must include at least five scholarly sources, two of which must be from the University of Arizona Global Campus Library, in addition to the course text.
Must document all sources in APA style as outlined in the Writing Center.
Must include a separate references page that is formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing Center (Links to an external site.).

The new digital age introduces new challenges for organizations because, through the increased use of technology, business is becoming more complex and demanding. Accordingly, students are to write a final paper that examines the role of technology within business. The purpose of this assignment is to apply the concepts covered in class.

You should focus your paper on  how will HR managers overcome the challenges associated with the new digital workforce?

I would ask some more analytical questions here so that you can be a little more objective in the way you are examining the topic.  Rather than going right to your claim that texting is ruining the language, ask yourself why or how. Then consider whether there is a direct correlation between texting use and other forms of communication.  Finally, see if this is necessarily negative or merely an adaptation of language to a particular context. Whatever the conclusion–even if you still feel that it is ruining language–you will have a better idea of what you are claiming and why.

Investigators must always be aware of the potential value of trace evidence such as paint and soil evidence when processing crime scenes for evidential clues.

In a 3-5 page essay answer the following questions using the concepts you learned in this unit.

Discuss the proper collection and preservation of paint evidence from an automobile suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run incident with another motor vehicle. Paint that is foreign to the suspect automobile is observed on the hood. Describe the proper submission of paint transfers and paint standards from both motor vehicles for laboratory examination. (An excellent answer would include at least five major points.)

Discuss how soil evidence is collected and preserved in a criminal investigation. (An excellent answer would include at least four major points.): [Saferstein, R. (2018). Criminalistics: An introduction to forensic science. pgs 366-369]

Summarize how the crime lab conducts forensic soil examinations.

Use three sources including the following:

Understanding the foundation of Fourth Amendment protections will help you understand how the interpretation and line-drawing has changed over time to reflect public policy and changes in society. Prepare a 3-page paper, citing a minimum of three academically verified references and addressing the following points:

Describe the type of search the framers of the Constitution prohibited through the Fourth Amendment.
Explain how prohibiting that type of search would address historical problems.
Fast-forwarding to today, you are a police officer getting ready to request a search warrant for an apartment suspected to contain illegal drugs. You know that warrants are generally issued with a knock-and-announce requirement. You are concerned that the occupants will destroy the evidence, and you have heard that some judges will give police a no-knock warrant authorizing officers to enter certain premises without first knocking and announcing their presence or purpose. Using the HeinOnline legal research database for your state, locate one case that provides insight into whether this type of warrant should be requested, and apply the case to the determination by reaching a supported conclusion.
Assume the warrant was requested. Upon arrival you look in the window and see that the drugs are in plain view near the front door, out of reach of any of the occupants. Determine whether you should ignore this new information and enter without announcing. Cite one case from your state to support your position.
Be sure to review the Fourth Amendment, Policies, and Society Scoring Guide to ensure that you understand the criteria for this assignment.
