I’m not sure where the confusion occurred, but what you have submitted is not an essay. You have written this as if responding to four individual questions per paragraph, rather than just writing paragraphs.

All I wanted you to do was to write an introduction as demonstrated, then three simple, strong paragraphs as practiced in the Building Paragraphs assignment. Finish with a conclusion saying what next based on your argumentand you’re done.

Weighted Average Cost of Capital

Imagine that you own a company, Optimus, Inc., which is funded with 40% debt and 60% common stock; there is no preferred stock in the capital structure. The debt has an after-tax cost of 4%. You have studied the Electrobicycle project, and you believe that the auto company who has done the research and development (R&D) has made a crucial mistake. You believe that after the first 5 years, there will be worldwide expansion opportunities and many more years of revenues and earnings from selling Electrobicycles. Thus, you would not shut down the project in Year 5. Instead, you believe you will be able to sell the Electrobicycle business in Year 5 to a multinational company that will continue to produce the products and sell them internationally for many years into the future. You believe the sale of the Electrobicycle business in Year 5 will be for at least $15.0 million. Thus, you believe the value of the Electrobicycle project is significantly higher than the auto company realizes.
Calculate Optimus required rate of return on equity using the capital asset pricing model (CAPM). For the CAPM, use the following assumptions:
Use a risk-free rate of 4.0%.
Use 6.0% as the market risk premium
Beta for this problem is 0.90…..
Calculate the WACC for Optimus. As a reminder, Optimus is funded with 40% debt and 60% common stock; there is no preferred stock in the capital structure. The debt has an after-tax cost of 4%.
Use the Optimus required rate of return on equity that you calculated using the CAPM.
Explain why it is appropriate for Optimus to value the Electrobicycle project using its WACC. Compare using the WACC to using solely the cost of equity in valuing the Electrobicycle project.

During WWII, women turned out in record numbers to work in factories manufacturing aircraft, fly aircraft, and perform countless other aviation-related jobs. Women Fill Men’s Factory Jobs During World War II. After WWII, women stayed in the workforce, but not many chose to remain in aviation careers. Even today, the numbers are dismal regarding women and minorities working in aviation/aerospace positions. What happened to Rosie?

For this assignment, conduct research on the lack of diversity in the aviation and aerospace workforce. Then formulate a short paper of 3-5 pages stating your opinion as to why so few women and minorities enter or stay in the aviation and aerospace workforce today. Research Theme (Photography)

Every Digital Media major is required to have a research theme. This is an area of endeavor within Digital Media (print, web, photography). You should choose a theme that interests you…something
that you want to be an expert in by the time you graduate. (I chose photography)

Research on the theme, in this case Photography. Then, you are to write your findings in a short (three page, double-spaced) paper that meets the APA manuscript requirements.

Here are the points you will cover:
1. What do other credible people or institutions have to say about your question?
2. Write about their research.
3. Do not provide your own opinion.
4. Cite at least 10 sources using correct APA style.
*Wikis are not credible sources.
*Must have printed book/journal sources as well as internet sources.

This isn’t a personal journal, but is intended as a scholarly exercise. You must use APA style, citing sources in text or a References list at the end.

To earn an ‘A’, you must also provide supporting documentation (bibliography, photographs, links, samples, cost analysis, and so forth).
