Submit an annotated bibliography by no later than Sunday of week 3. Late submissions of this assignment will not be accepted. Be sure that you collect a minimum 3-4 peer reviewed sources (published within the last 10 years) for the annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography must be relevant to your ‘working title’ of your research proposal. Please note that each annotation should be around 250 words to briefly synthesize the article. The annotation should not be excessive; nor overly brief. See the rubric. In addition, these three to four sources are not the only sources you will use in your proposal. They are a means for the professor to make sure you are on the right track, selecting the right kind of literature, and that you are able to compile an annotated bibliography.

The annotated bibliography will be included as an appendix in your final ‘research proposal’ that you submit in week 7.

Organizations want to have the biggest impact in their HR departments by staffing with positions that have both breadth and depth.  For some that means utilizing the HR Generalist role, for others, it is the HR Specialist role. You are the HR Manager for a non-profit organization. The CEO meets with you to discuss staffing for the next two years. While the budget looks stable enough to approve your request for two additional professional level positions, she makes it clear that you need to ensure the additional positions are both versatile and specialized to handle a myriad of challenging responsibilities. Do you make a case for hiring HR Generalists or HR Specialists? Please explain your response.

DIRECTIONS FOR ASSIGNMENT:
Use the rubric provided to analyze the research article. Write a paper in narrative form that discusses the article. Follow the headings found in the template for the assignment. Do not write the questions. Your sentences should reflect the part of the analysis you are discussing. In the provided 7th edition APA template, the writing prompts are there to help you. As you write, answer the questions in the table.
The paper should be narrative meaning it is to be written in paragraph form. Grammar and spelling are important. The instructor will provide an article for you to critique.
Your paper should be written in APA style, using headings for each Section. Headings are leveled in APA format and must be correct. The provided template already has the headings for you. Write in complete sentences and support your thoughts with resources. Paragraphs are 3-5 sentences in length. A new paragraph is used for each new thought. A good paragraph contains an introduction sentence and a conclusion sentence. Use appropriate flow of words, grammar and punctuation.
A cover page and reference list in APA format should be used. The template has the newest way to write different types of references, so follow the 7th edition guidelines.
Excellent grammar, spelling and APA format are required.
Independent stand alone quotes are not permitted.
The paper will be checked for plagiarism. Please review the plagiarism report before turning in the paper. Your plagiarism check should be 10% or less similarity index.
