The purpose of the paper is to provide the reader with a synopsis of a problem or critical issue in US crime, what we know about the pre-exiting policies that are causing or contributing to one of the problems or issues, and what alternative policy options are recommended.All information contained in the paper must come from academic sources unless your instructor tells you otherwise. In addition, you should not rely on your own knowledge about the topic. Moreover, you must use a minimum of 10 academic sources when writing your paper. Your paper must be written in APA format and must include citations written in APA format. Failure to include citations constitutes plagiarism. Your paper must include a title page as well as a reference page. Points will be deducted from papers that do not meet the page requirement or that do not incorporate eight academic sources.

The Structural Elements of the Capstone Research Report

Policy reports directly reflect the different roles that the policy analyst commonly plays, i.e. from researcher to advocate. The type of report that you are writing is one from the more action-oriented, advocacy end of the continuum (but that is nevertheless based purely on evidence and not your opinion). Meats contain iron called haem iron whereas vegetables contain non-haem iron. Haem iron is much more easier for the body to consume that non-haem iron therefore it is better to choose meat products if your looking for something with more iron. However, to receive maxim results, is best to consume both non-haem and haem iron foods. Vitamin C also increases absorption of iron.. By choosing meat and meat alternatives, Sophie will receive enough vitamins, minerals, zinc, protein and iron to sustain her.

A literature review is a synthesis of chosen evidence and resources on a topic of interest. Your assignment is to select a topic of interest and complete a literature review. Must be healthcare related. You are expected to select a minimum of 5 articles. These sources should be current (within the last 3-5 years). Your review should be between 6-8 pages (not including title and reference page). It is imperative that  APA (6th  or 7th  edition) formatting is utilized.

Essential Steps of the Literature Review:

    Define the research problem/topic
    Determine key terms
    Select primary sources of evidence
    Read and synthesize evidence
    Write a synthesis of findings that compares and contrasts findings

Components of a Literature Review

Introduction

The introduction serves the purpose of presenting the problem and briefly explaining the significance of the topic. You should also share your search strategy with the reader.

Body of Literature Review

The body synthesizes the findings from the studies reviewed. You will first complete an annotated bibliography of each reference. For each study, you should briefly explain the purpose, procedures for data collection, and major findings. Be sure to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each study.

Discussion

The discussion section is your opportunity to compare and contrast the evidence you reviewed. How is one better than the other?  How do studies compare or contrast with each other? This is where you draw conclusions based on the available literature.

Reference Page

List all sources utilized to complete the literature review. If it is cited in the body of your writing it should be listed in the reference list. APA 6th edition should be strictly adhered to.

Hello! So this paper is a final paper for my Classic “Self and Society” course in college and we are discussing Greek mythology. We’ve been going through Odyssey by Homer mostly and also explored Greek culture via Metropolitan Museum online.
Here is the instruction from the professor:

“It is to b 5 to 7 pages using Times New Roman, 12 font and double spaced.  Your heading should look like the one noted above.  No fancy covers please.  Use citations for all direct quotes as well as for all research information or you will be plagiarizing.  Make sure to underline your thesis statement. You may choose one of the following topics:

1) Choose a god/goddess and discuss his/her relevance to some aspect of social culture.  Be specific-for instance, a connection to some cult and its impact on Greek society.

2) Choose one god/goddess and find several variations on his/her myth.  The variations could be related to the birth or some other episode in the life of the god.  Discuss how these variations impact on the gods reception in society.

3) Choose one initiation rite (male, female, cult) and find literary references to it and discuss them and its relevant impact on society.

4) Choose a hero:  Heracles, Theseus, or Perseus for example- and discuss whether he fits the hero mold or not, according to the parameters (Otto Rank, Lord Raglan) we discussed in class.  Give proof for your answer with definite examples.  How was this hero perceived by society, was there a cult to him, and if so, where was it located (what city) and how was he honored?”

you will be writing an argumentative essay on a topic of your choice. The topic you choose must be debatable and you must take a clear stand on one side of the issue. Your topic must also be on a small enough scale that it is appropriately narrow for a 3-5 page essay. Your essay must include a title, an introductory paragraph, which contains your argumentative thesis statement, at least three body paragraphs, which provide support for your argument and a conclusion paragraph. Research from at least two outside sources is required to provide evidence and support for your argument. Research must be cited using APA style. You must include a reference page, which lists the specific sources you used and properly cite the sources within your essay. An example essay is provided below for reference. Please read this before writing your essay.

In order to foster learning and growth, all essays you submit must be newly written specifically for this course. Any recycled work will be sent back with a 0, and you will be given one attempt to redo the touchstone.

Choosing a Topic

You are required to use at least two outside sources as evidence for your argument. The sources an author uses can either build or degrade his/her credibility. In addition, improper citation of sources is a form of plagiarism and is not acceptable in academic writing. Be sure the sources you choose are credible and unbiased. As a general rule of thumb- online sources that end in .edu, .gov or .org are usually more reliable than websites that end in .com. However, online news sources or online encyclopedias are credible sources as well.
