Topic: The future of gastro-tourism after the Covid-19 Pandemic

Gastro-tourism refers to “the act of traveling for a taste of place in order to get a sense of place” (World Food Travel Association). Food is an important part of travel and tourism; however, it will be changed forever due to the Pandemic.

1) Explore the rise of gastro-tourism and how it has been developed (40 points).

2) Discuss the influences of the pandemic on gastro-tourism. Define problems and discuss its consequences  (40 points).

3) Discuss how we can change the crisis to an opportunity and suggest solutions/new approaches/ideas to recover or transform the gastro-tourism (70 points).

The paper should  conform to APA formatting guidelines, with a clear heading for each section, a title page, and references. Papers should be a minimum of three pages and a maximum of five pages, excluding the title page, abstract, and references.

Any item with more than 3 words quoted from another source must be in quotes and referenced with author and page number. Copying material greater than 30 words is not permitted, even with a citation. Failure to follow this guideline will be considered plagiarism and reported to Student Affairs.
Use headings and subheadings to organize information. No “lone headings”, i.e., a heading on one page with its contents on the next. Move the heading to the next page. The same goes for bullets (move a lone bullet to the page where its siblings reside).
Be objective, not conversational. Avoid use of the word I and do not use contractions.
Check grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
References must be in APA format

In your paper, do not summarize the plot. It should not look like the Viewer Guides. Please focus on the music. Here are some possible approaches:

A narrative approach allows you to talk about the film as it unfolds and analyze the music as it appears in the film. This is the easiest approach and also the least interesting. Still, a good paper that focuses on music can achieve an A grade.

You can choose some of the basic qualities of film music (see Chapter 4) and treat one or more separately. This places the emphasis on music more than in the narrative approach.

Taking a point of view is the most challenging, thoughtful approach. It is especially recommended as a practice for those going to graduate schools. Decide on a point of view about the music in the film and support your view in a logical manner that does not depend on the narrative or the mechanical listing of musical characteristics. Possible subjects: the role of source music in a film; how does music reflects changes in a character or situation; how does music supports the theme or message of a film.
