start by checking out this link about the credibility of references. http://www.clips.edu.au/referencing/

When writing or reviewing scientific literature, it is important to assess more than just their results. In fact, the authors of any article ought to check the credibility of their sources before citing them. Citing sources that are not reliable in your writing is a quick way to reduce your OWN credibility as an author. How do you know if a reference is credible? Please read from the following link prior to answering the discussion questions in your post this week: https://openoregon.pressbooks.pub/mhccmajorsbio/chapter/using-credible-sources/

For the first part of the discussion, Check out the following sources about red hair, and rate their credibility using the CRAAP method. Read as much as you need to of each in order to determine your ratings. Explain your ratings:

1. Article: “Red for danger” (PDF document posted in this week’s D2L content)

2. Article: “13 amazing facts about redheads that everyone needs to know” – https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/beauty-hair/hair/a32357/redhead-facts/

3. Article: “The genetic architecture of hair colour in the UK population” – https://www.biorxiv.org/content/biorxiv/early/2018/05/11/320267.full.pdf

4. Article: “Redheads: The Genetics of Hair Color” – https://owlcation.com/stem/Redheads-The-Genetics-of-Hair-Color

After rating each of these, with an explanation for each rating, comment overall on the following:

1. What are some good starting points for finding credible sources?

2. What did you learn about red hair? What are you still unsure about, based on the credibility of the above sources?

3. How does this make you re-think what you read on the internet, and what you might cite in your future writing assignments?

Based on the questions posed in your Research Report Proposal, the Annotated bibliography should include a summary of the main points and conclusions made by the author(s) of at least 10 of the most relevant books, reports or journal articles (see recommended journals in section 7.5 of the syllabus) on your topic. Annotations of media and internet sources may be included, but should be in addition to the minimum of 10. Full bibliographic details for each reference must be supplied. Bibliographies should be listed with Authors names in alphabetical order.

There is no need at this stage to set out the main arguments you will present in your final report. Just collect and summarise the most relevant literature. What is already known about the topic? What are the different points of view? Are there conflicts of interpretation? Your annotated bibliography should be less than 1,400 words long.you can refer to the order#179573999

Six Sigma is a continuous improvement strategy that aids an organization in identifying, reducing, and eliminating defects from any product, process, or transaction. When using Six Sigma, a solution is not generally known at the beginning but becomes clear through use of the Six Sigma strategy.  Address the following requirements:
Identify a problem for improvement in an organization with which you are familiar, and detail an objective or desired outcome.
In the remaining pages, detail the metrics that would measure success and why those are appropriate, and explain the process for determining root causes, and what tools would be used to follow through on the steps of the Six Sigma strategy.

You will need to find 4 articles located in scholarly journals. https://eds-a-ebscohost-com.su.idm.oclc.org/eds/results?vid=0&sid=3919542e-bce6-4547-9e68-ef484f3f8812%40sdc-v-sessmgr01&bquery=scholarly&bdata=JmNsaTA9RlQmY2x2MD1ZJnR5cGU9MCZzZWFyY2hNb2RlPVN0YW5kYXJkJnNpdGU9ZWRzLWxpdmU%3d

Scholarly journal articles are also referred as primary source peer reviewed articles. A scholarly journal article can be found in the South University Online Library. To find more information regarding utilizing the South University Library and accessing scholarly journal articles click on Library Guide. What cannot be used for this assignment are web pages, magazines, newspapers, text books, and other books. Finally, current research for our purposes is an article that was published within the last 5 to 6 years.

Remember this is a course on human development so when looking for articles make sure they are related to the subject matter covered in the course. To help in your search here are some of the major areas we covered in this course (these are meant as a guide, not specific topics to find).

Major developmental theories across the lifespan
Nature of geographic, gender, social, cognitive, emotional, and developmental factors during each period of development
Developmental factors that impact one another.
Historical and current trends in development
Current trends which may differentially impact the future development of populations in the United States
Social, and diversity issues related to developmental psychology
With the major areas above in mind, focus on at least two of the following age groups:

Childhood
Adolescence
Adulthood
Older Adults
First, give an overview of each article, including:

Write a 2-paragraph summary for each article.
Write a 1-2 paragraph analysis and evaluation for each article found.
Make sure to integrate course material in that analysis
Then, write a summary (1-2 pages) integrating what was leaned from the articles reviewed on the chosen age groups as seen from the life-span perspective. Cover the following in that summary:

What similarities did you find in the types of research and what was being studied? What differences did you find?
Based on your course readings, what developmental theories did you find that were applicable?
Explain how the life-span perspective may provide a way of better understanding the research reviewed.

The perceptions about growing older into older adulthood often do not match the realities of being an older adult.
For this assignment,
explain some of the myths regarding older adults and some of the realities they often face.
Put special emphasis on the social-economic and the physical factors that you have found in your readings and research on this topic.
Based on your experiences how would you interpret these myths and realities of older adults? Make sure to justify your answers by citing relevant sources.

In this essay you will make an argument about a text grounded in your close reading. Your paper should focus on a single passage or block of lines from one of the primary texts assigned in Unit 2. You may also bring in other portions of the text, or other texts by the same author, if your argument requires. Be sure to directly quote the lines that you are close reading: the quotations are your evidence, and close reading is how you interpret and explain that evidence. Imagine (as in fact the case) you’re writing for an audience who is familiar with the text, but does not have it memorized or open in front of them.

Sonnet 15
When I consider everything that grows
Holds in perfection but a little moment,
That this huge stage presenteth nought but shows
Whereon the stars in secret influence comment;
When I perceive that men as plants increase,
Cheered and check’d even by the selfsame sky,
Vaunt in their youthful sap, at height decrease,
And wear their brave state out of memory;
Then the conceit of this inconstant stay
Sets you most rich in youth before my sight,
Where wasteful Time debateth with Decay
To change your day of youth to sullied night;
And all in war with Time for love of you,
As he takes from you, I engraft you new.
