This week, the topic is Promoting Emotional and Social Development. After completing your weekly text reading, reviewing the additional resources provided, and in doing your own outside research, complete the following three (3) step assignment:

Step 1: Select a setting in which you can complete two 30-minute observations of children socially interacting. This can be a preschool, a playground, YMCA, Girl Scout or Boy Scout event, mall play area, etc. Complete two 30-minute observations of infants, a toddlers, or preschoolers. Write objective and detailed notes on exactly what you see (i.e. How many children? What is each child doing? Is there an argument? Is there a child playing alone, and what specifically is he/she doing? How are the children interacting? etc.) Observations should be taken in 1-minute time intervals. It works well to take your phone with you and set a 1-minute timer, each time it goes off, record exactly what you see. Make sure to turn on vibrate or the ringer way down so not to disturb the natural play environment. Please utilize the chart below. Make sure to fill out completely with details about your observation. Please note that an administrator or site director must authorize all observations.

Objective: The aim of this final assignment is for you to develop and explain your own overarching
interpretation of twentieth-century Europe from the Great War (1914-18) to the collapse of the Soviet
Union in 1991. Through your interpretation, you will communicate what you have taken away from
the second half of History 106.

Options: You must choose one of the follow four options as the basis for your interpretation of
twentieth-century Europe: (1) a single word; (2) a phrase; (3) a slogan/motto; or (4) an
illustration or other image, object, or artifact. Whichever option you choose, you must use it in
order to explain how and why it epitomizes your overarching interpretation of the twentieth century.

Scope: As you can see, there are many different pathways to developing and explaining your
overarching interpretation of twentieth-century Europe. The only requirement is that whichever
option you choose your word, phrase, slogan, drawing, image, etc. must be comprehensive
enough to cover all of Europe (east and west) for the entire era (1914 to 1991). You may not choose
a pathway that limits the geographic and/or temporal scope of your paper (e.g., analyzing the Soviet
Union only in the postwar era (1945-91); or concentrating only on Europe between the two world
wars (1919-39). In short, your interpretive idea needs to be big enough to epitomize twentieth century
Europe as a whole

Method: Your interpretation must be supported through an analysis of primary sources. For this
assignment, you are permitted to use any and all primary sources that have been assigned to you over
the last six weeks of the semester (between Weeks 8 and 13). I will add to these a collection of new
(previously unassigned) primary-source excerpts that you may also draw upon in order to develop
and explain your overarching interpretation of twentieth-century Europe. You will find these sources
on Canvas in a module dedicated to the final paper. Together, the combination of these familiar and
new sources will give you a wide array of sources to select from when writing your paper.

Imagine you own or manage a company. Your company recently completed a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis, and the board of directors is looking to revise the companys compensation program. Doing so will help keep the company competitive in attracting new talent. As part of the human resources department, you were asked to draft an essay describing how compensation programs are developed and how laws can affect compensation practices.
Your essay should be a minimum of two pages in length, using at least your textbook as a source. Be sure that your essay includes the following elements:
In your introduction, create a fictitious name for your company, and include some basic background information such as where the company is located, when it was founded, and how many employees work at the company. Do not use an actual company for this essay.
Describe issues that influence an individuals decision to apply for or accept a specific job at your company.
Explain how compensation plans can influence the success of your organization.
Explore how influences outside your organization can affect its compensation plan.
Describe the provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Bennett Amendment, and Executive Order 11246, and explain why these were implemented and how they affect your company.
Adhere to APA Style when constructing this assignment, including in-text citations and references for all sources that are used. Please note that no abstract is needed.

Conduct a marketing research project. You need to choose one research problem (from a given list, see details in the assignment brief), develop the hypotheses, summarize preliminary insights, design a questionnaire, collect data, and conduct analysis, and make recommendations, etc.. .There are two important points. Firstly I need a brief summary of the project in 250 words. Secondly, there is a methodology part and I need to use Qualtrics. When you writing this part you need to create questions for the survey. after you write it please send it to me first so I can paste the questions to the website and conduct a survey and send it to the results for the upcoming parts. Also I’m putting the samples and examples of surveys questions to additional materials

this is my thesis so far and this is what has to be built off of: Models have always been seen as skinny, size 0, pretty,  white women and i think that needs to be changed. I think there needs to be a broader size range, a bigger skin tone range, and more unique people. Things have slowly been changing over the years but their needs to be more to show people that you dont have to be a size 0 to be beatutiful

In the first half of the assignment, you will prepare for Walmart to operate in a foreign market. You will need to analyze at least two leadership models and/or styles to determine which one will be more suitable for leading employees and for responding to stakeholders in a country outside of North America. Determine the leadership competencies that would be beneficial to you as a leader in the selected foreign market. You will choose either Peru, New Zealand, Philippines, Egypt, Czech Republic, or the United Arab Emirates for your analysis. You will also need to compare the concepts of cultural leadership according to how they can be applied in the country that you have selected. You must also determine the leadership skills and practices that should be used in order to foster team and organizational success.

In the second half of the assignment, you will conduct an analysis of the country that you have decided to expand operations into. The analysis must include the rationale for country selection based upon demographic and economic data. Lastly, the analysis should inform leadership about the countrys culture based upon GLOBEs nine dimensions of culture as argued in Northouse (2018). Incorporate each of the nine dimensions of culture in an analysis that will be hypothetically presented to Walmart leadership. When utilizing the nine dimensions, current information about the culture of the selected country must be utilized. The purpose of this preliminary analysis is to make sure that the leadership team understands the complexities of expanding into the country that you have selected. The paper should be eight to ten double-spaced pages and include five scholarly references.

In your paper,

Analyze the demographic and economic data of a country that Walmart is currently not operating in.
Conduct an analysis for Walmart leadership about the countrys culture based upon the GLOBEs nine dimensions of culture.
Explain how Walmarts leadership skills and practices may lead to organizational success.
Formulate a model of cultural and ethical leadership as it applies to Walmart at a global level.
