Background

Luzern Council has decided to provide a community festival as part of their policy to foster arts and cultural development through investment in Events.

It is hoped that this will provide the opportunity for stronger links to be forged between different local community cultural groups and be a celebration of Luzern as a place leading to increased social inclusion.

Luzern Council has employed a private event company to manage the festival. It is hoped that the festival will become a yearly event. The festival will take place over two days (Saturday/Sunday) during the summer of 2021.

The concept and design for the event needs to be created and it is the role of the event management company to provide a suitable site plan and operations schedule for the successful management of this festival.  Luzern Council has requested that the festival satisfies the following conditions

The festival is to be on and around an open space within the area known as Ufschtti.
To minimise the environmental impact that the festival may bring and to promote environmental awareness and environmentally responsible behavior.
The festival will attract all socio-economic groups therefore needs to be socially inclusive
Substantive provision for disabled visitors must be provided
Compliance with all legal, licensing and health and safety legislation.

Festival programme and activities

The festival needs to attract approximately 5000 people on each of the days. An Event programme for the festival should respect the timings below and the council have requested that a firework show mark the end of the Event. Otherwise groups should decide on a suitable programme and activities, aligned with the timeslots below to attract the targeted attendee numbers while fulfilling the conditions outlined by Luzern Council above.

Complete a 2-part assignment in which you conduct research about a population of focus, develop a PICOT statement, and write a Literature Review. And later use this to as an evidence-based practice project.

PART 1
PICOT (Population/Problem, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Time to achieve the outcome) is a method that helps clarify the qualities needed to create a good question out of a practice issue or problem affecting the population of focus. Additionally, the information derived from a good PICOT makes it easier to perform a literature search in order to find translational research sources that can be used to address the clinical problem.
Use a national, state or local population health care database to research indicators of disparity. Choose a mortality/morbidity indicator to identify a clinical problem or issue that you want to explore pertaining to a population of focus. Use this indicator to begin to formulate a PICOT and conduct research on the population.
Write a 1000 word paper that analyzes your research and focuses on the population you have chosen. Describe the population’s demographics and health concerns, and explain how nursing science, health determinants, and epidemiologic, genomic, and genetic data may impact population health management for the selected population. Provide an overview of a potential solution for solving the health issue related to your population and the intended PICOT statement. Describe how the solution incorporates health policies and goals that support health care equity for the population of focus.

You are required to cite five sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and nursing content.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. ( PART A rubric)

Part B
Literature Review

In Part A, you described the population and quality initiative related to your PICOT (Population/Problem, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome, and Time to achieve the outcome) statement. In this assignment, you will formalize your PICOT and research process.
Search for peer-reviewed research articles. Find five peer-reviewed primary source translational research articles.
In a paper of 1,500 words, synthesize the research into a literature review. The literature review should provide an overview for the reader that illustrates the research related to your particular PICOT. Include the following:
1.    Introduction: Describe the clinical issue or problem you are addressing.
2.    Methods: Describe the criteria you used in choosing your articles
3.    Synthesize the Literature: Part A: Discuss the main components of each article (subjects, methods, key findings) and provide rationale for how this supports your PICOT; Part B: Compare and contrast the articles: Discuss limitations, controversies, and similarities/differences of the studies.
4.    Areas of Further Study: Analyze the evidence presented in your articles to identify what is known, unknown, and requires further study.
5.    You are required to cite 10 sources to complete this assignment. Sources must be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria and nursing content.
6.    This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. (PART B rubric)

Watch the Eyes on the Prize: Part 2.
Describe, in your own words, the events surrounding the Little Rock Nine. Use only the video as you

1. Why were the black children integrating Central High School? Legal reasons? Moral reasons?
2. What was the reaction of the Governor of Arkansas initially?
3. What was the reaction of the white citizens of Little Rock when the students showed up the first
time? Why do you think they reacted that way? Would they have acted that way if they were by
themselves instead of in a large crowd? Explain.
4. Describe the ordeal of Elizabeth Eckford? How did she react in the moment? Why do you think
she reacted this way?
5. What was President Eisenhowers response?
6. Describe what a day in the school might have been like for one of the Little Rock Nine kids.
7. How does this event make you feel about race relations in the United States, and in the South

Paper should be a minimum of 3 full pages. Each portion of the above assignment must be completed. Use 12 point standard font. Default margins. Double Spaced. Header will include name and class. Convert to a PDF document or Rich Text Format (RTF). I cannot guarantee that I can open other formats. A grading rubric will be attached.

The University of Miami’s official mascot is the ibis. Folklore maintains that the native marsh bird is the last to take shelter before a hurricane hits and the first to emerge once the storm passes, making it an apt symbol of courage and resilience.

Considering your ability to control your own motivation and behavior, how have past experiences helped build your courage and resilience to persist in the face of academic and life challenges so that, once these storms pass, you can emerge in continued pursuit of your goals?*

QUESTION
Assignment Description

Part 1
Top management of a large company has told you that they would like to be able to determine what the impact of years of service at their company has on workers’ productivity levels, and they would like to be able to predict potential productivity based upon years of service. The company has data on all of its employees and has been using a valid productivity measure that assesses each employee’s productivity.
What is a possible way to answer management’s question, and how does the analysis work? Reference the section on bi-variate linear regression from Green & Salkind.

Part 2
After reviewing the results of the analysis in Part I, the company found they are significantly related. However, a statistician reviewed the output and said that the results really do not explain much of what is happening in the total relationship.
What information is the statistician referring to from your output, and why is it important? Reference the section on bi-variate linear regression from Green & Salkind.

Keeping in mind that the government is not a business and cannot be run or managed as one, this does not mean that our government cannot be more responsive to its citizens. First, how would you define “responsiveness” based on your own definition? Do you think that the government is responsive (enough) to its citizens? Why or why not? In what ways could the government be more responsive to its citizenry? Would an increase in responsiveness improve civic engagement (voter turnout, donating to campaigns, attending campaign rallies, signing petitions, writing letters to our Congress people, etc.)? In thinking about Porter’s argument that citizens use the consumer world to make political decisions, how does this compare with your own decision-making in politics? Do you agree/disagree with Porter’s argument

the essay is about Louis Riel who is a hero to his people, but a traitor and rebel to to others. You need to write about how might his desire to protect the rights of his people have competed with the dominant forces in the new country of Canada.
