Summary:
Please note: No quotations are permitted in this exercise. Use your own words, and properly cite ANY idea NOT your own!  You may paraphrase, if you properly cite your sources (see question d) for an illustration of proper citation). Remember, directly using 7 or more words in sequence without quotation marks constitutes plagiarism. You must refer specifically to the reading (demonstrating that you have read it), citing page numbers. Do not use outside (e.g. internet sources) and do not consult with other students.

Succinctly answer the following question in 250 words or less:
a) Define precarious employment. b) Explain how it is operationalized, and how it benefits employers, using a personal example from your workplace (or that of a family member) to illustrate.

Please use British English. Each question must start with an introduction and end with a conclusion. Also, add a common introduction and a conclusion to the report. Add relevant theories, cases, and examples to demonstrate the answers. The referencing style should be OSCOLA, including the footnoting and the bibliography.

Informative Speech Outline & PowerPoint

The outline will require the use of data, facts, statistics, will have a works cited page, and a PowerPoint.

The FORMAT we have to use for the outline is below and is the 2nd file and also an example.

The PowerPoint can be however long, as long as it has all the information that’s on the at least 2-page outline.

Must have five credible sources of research

The speech itself has to 6-7 mins long.

“For your PowerPoint slides, I personally would only use 5-7 and have then highlight sine if the text you are communicating to us. For example, you could have a title page, overview, several slides highlighting your main points, and then a concluding slide.”

Compose a short paper in Microsoft Word on how you feel about communicating through electronic devices. Is it easier than communicating with someone face to face? What do you think are the pros and cons of communicating electronically? What is your opinion on this issue? Make sure to use specific reasons and examples to support your position. If you use sources or direct quotes, be sure to cite them at the end of your paper.

Your first writing assignment is to write a 4-page essay on the following topic: Outline the struggles and rewards of Job, Achilleus, and Odysseus in dealing with their gods.

To prove your assertions, refer directly to episodes in our assigned readings.  If you use outside sources, you must give them proper credit. (See the MLA Style Sheet.) You are not required to consult outside sources, but, if you do and fail to give proper credit, that’s plagiarism. If you plagiarize, you’ll receive a 0 for the assignment and will likely fail the course. SO DO NOT PLAGIARIZE!  Being sorry won’t be enough if you’re caught.

Moreover, since this is an English course, the quality of your writing is important too. You should write in complete sentences, make sure that all pronouns have clear references, spell all words correctly, and ensure that subjects and verbs agree.

Send me your essay as a Word attachment in 12 pt. Times Roman font; double-space your essay.

Answer:
1. What do you think is/are the problem(s) that the Affordable Care Act was aiming to solve. What is your assessment of how the ACA did at addressing the problem(s) you identified? And what reforms would you suggest? There is no right or wrong answer. Just think critically and creatively. What do you think is missing in the ACA? Or would you suggest something else entirely?
2. Think back to previous weeks. How does last week’s readings on politics and public opinion connect to the process and challenges of healthcare reform efforts? What does the influence of politics and public opinion mean for the ability of our system to address health disparities and social determinants of health?

3.When you respond to someone else’s original post: What do you think would be the effect of the suggestion(s) in the original post? What questions do you think need to be answered? What could be the unintended consequences?
