THE ASSIGNMENT:
Find a modern film (anything from 2000 to present) that mimics the hallmarks of those made from roughly 1967 – 1975, during what is known as the New Hollywood Era.
Demonstrate your knowledge of the influence of the quintessential New Hollywood filmmakers (approximately 1967 1975) by comparing the hallmark styles and techniques of those pictures (use “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” or “The Graduate”) with a relatively modern (anything from 2000 to present) film.
Some of the things to look for would be:
Theme of rebellion
A hero fighting the system and losing
Story lines emphasizing the loss of innocence
Anti-Heroes that the audience is rooting for
The Establishment as the enemy
Downer endings
Popular music soundtracks
Often stylish, fast-cutting, consciously showy filmmaking
REMEMBER, you must compare your modern film of choice with EITHER “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” or “The Graduate.”
Your analysis should be at least 2 pages, double-spaced.
What are some of the strategies and considerations used when working with families as compared to individuals? Consider health disparities, advocacy and collaboration with other health care workers. Use at least three professional references in addition to your textbook,
this is the text book
Rector, C. (2018). Community and public health nursing: Promoting the public’s health (9th ed.). Philadelphia, PA: Wolters Kluwer.
2. Your first task will be to read the articles thoroughly, using active Reading Strategies and annotation methods.
3. You will then prepare a brief SUMMARY & RESPONSE Paper: This will be an INFORMAL writing assignment rather than a researched argument. However, I still want you to adhere to a specific set of document design strategies for these papers.
4. These papers must be double-spaced and in compliance with the document design guidelines handout. They are to be a minimum of 500 words long. The Title should read Summary Response One (and so on). The word count should be TYPED in parentheses at the end of the paper.
5. You should correctly identify the title and author(s) of the article in the first one or two sentences of your paper.
6. The papers should consist of TWO PARAGRAPHS:
a. The first paragraph should be a summary of the key ideas in the articles, which adheres to the summary guidelines (see Summary handout):
1) Purpose: give a reader a short, but clear account of the readings main points. Audience: someone who hasnt read the text.
2) A summary is completely in your wordsdont use the writers words. Explain the writers ideas but put them in your words.
3) A summary contains none of your opinions about the source. It is only a re-telling of the article in your own words.
b. The second paragraph should be your personal response to the article, an expression of your opinion about the ideas, controversies, and problems/solutions explored in the article. This paragraph can take any form that you are comfortable with but must express some opinion relevant to the subject matter, including a personal connection or story.
-The topic is one your own choice. Choose a topic that is relevant, intellectually stimulating, and memorable for your audience.
-You must cite at least one credible, reputable, and/or scholarly source. Be sure and conduct your research to add credibility to both yourself and your speech
The nine documents are in the file named “The Question”.
Please read the documents named with numbers in the additional materials. They are the class notes.
Please utilize the class notes while writing the essay.
Please carefully read “Document commentary method” and write the essay according to the guidelines (please strictly follow).
Please write with good English, avoid repeating the same content with different words just to fill the word-count.
Please respond to messages (I won’t send a lot, just at the beginning.)
Please make sure the work is plagirism free.
There are two versions of 7 because I think it is the most useful.
While bureaucrats have an awful lot of power, they do have some accountability to the public. For example, most of the rules bureaucrats propose must be open for public comment. These proposed rules are posted on The Federal Register, and are there for anyone to review and comment on, typically for 60 days.
Your task is to go to The Federal Register and review a proposed rule under the Current Issue section. To receive credit, you’ll need to:
Summarize the rule– who proposed it, and what will it change? (0-3 points)
Analyze the rule– give at least one reason why the new rule would be good, and one reason why it would be bad (0-3 points)
Evaluate the rule– Should the rule be passed? Why, or why not? (0-4 points)
Be sure your essay is at least 250 words long, and includes a link to the proposed rule. No credit will be awarded if you fail to do this. Also– keep in mind that, while this is a shorter essay, you are still expected to use multiple paragraphs in your essay. No credit will be awarded if your essay is only one paragraph long.

Link the book to broader course themes. Remember, you should express a clear opinion and create an organised, argumentative essay.
I have already completed the provisional thesis and approved the articles that need to be cited. See profs feedback.
Also I am only a B student so if it is too good, the prof will know. Thanks
