The nine documents are in the file named “The Question”.

Please read the documents named with numbers in the additional materials. They are the class notes.

Please utilize the class notes while writing the essay.

Please carefully read “Document commentary method” and write the essay according to the guidelines (please strictly follow).

Please write with good English, avoid repeating the same content with different words just to fill the word-count.

Please respond to messages (I won’t send a lot, just at the beginning.)

Please make sure the work is plagirism free.

There are two versions of 7 because I think it is the most useful.

While bureaucrats have an awful lot of power, they do have some accountability to the public.  For example, most of the rules bureaucrats propose must be open for public comment.  These proposed rules are posted on The Federal Register, and are there for anyone to review and comment on, typically for 60 days.

Your task is to go to The Federal Register and review a proposed rule under the Current Issue section.  To receive credit, you’ll need to:

Summarize the rule– who proposed it, and what will it change? (0-3 points)

Analyze the rule– give at least one reason why the new rule would be good, and one reason why it would be bad (0-3 points)

Evaluate the rule– Should the rule be passed?  Why, or why not? (0-4 points)

Be sure your essay is at least 250 words long, and includes a link to the proposed rule.  No credit will be awarded if you fail to do this.  Also– keep in mind that, while this is a shorter essay, you are still expected to use multiple paragraphs in your essay.  No credit will be awarded if your essay is only one paragraph long.

Cite from the Sources for the Cultures of the West reader any work of literature from chapters 19-23 and answer the below question in at least 150 words. Remember: proper syntax and two replies of the same length are required for full credit.

What role did religion play in the modern world leading up to the beginning of the Twentieth Century? Was it as relevant in pushing the narrative of Western Civilization as it was during the Renaissance and Enlightenment? Did it win or lose most of its ideological battles during this time? Why? How does your selected source show this?

I will send you chapter readings in Few hours…

And students post in few hours… you need to reply to 2 students..

Then write a 2500-word (max.) essay based around a central topic/theme/issue from your chosen book. Your essay must be based around a strong thesis statement and in depth research (both verified/approved by an earlier assignment). Contextualise the subject matter in the global history of medicine. Link the book to broader course themes. Remember, you should express a clear opinion and create an organised, argumentative essay.

I have already completed the provisional thesis and approved the articles that need to be cited. See profs feedback.

Also I am only a B student so if it is too good, the prof will know. Thanks

Assignment Rules:
In no more than a page (which for me is 550 words), summarize the central claim of the reading and the key steps of the author’s argument to support this claim.

Be sure to discuss the methodology and sources that support this argument.

At the end, assess the strengths and weaknesses of the argument.

My instructions:
Please do not make it a long paragraph of random facts one after the other. Instead of stating facts from the article right after the other, state the main claim and explain how and why the author makes it the main claim. In a PEEL format (point, evidence explanation). The author’s main claim is this (make it very clear) and he does this by mentioning this, this and this. I do not want a re summarization / re phrasing of everything in the article with a lot of quoting, I must explain it in my own way. State main point/argument and how the author manages to address that.

Maybe each rule in separate short paragraphs.

BELOW I WILL UPLOAD A SCREENSHOT OF THE RUBRIC AND HOW I WILL BE GRADED. IT IS OUT OF 5. I REALLY NEED TO GET A FULL SCORE ON THIS!

Paper 3: The Type of Monument
At this point, your Renaissance patron is ready to conceive a suitable monument to him or herself. ART class addresses many types of potential monuments that should inspire you. There are secular monuments, primarily in the form of palaces commissioned by merchants and churchmen (cardinals and popes), but also in the form of infrastructure: bridges, roads, piazzas, aqueducts, fountains. We also discuss ecclesiastical monuments (churches and chapels) and we see in many cases that the boundaries between secular and ecclesiastical are not distinct (a sacristy also used as a family mausoleum; a papal chapel that celebrates a particular dynasty). Remember that your monument should be appropriate to the identity and goals of your patron. For this assignment you must describe the type of monument and its location, provide a detailed description of the layout and a drawing of a floor plan, and describe all relevant architectural features and their significance (i.e., does it have a dome or a particular facade design? is it made from a significant type of stone, etc.?). Because you need to provide considerable detail, this assignment must be two to three pages in length (typed, double-spaced text in a 12-point font with one-inch margins), not counting illustrations.
